At Avenues For Health we provide comprehensive gynecologic care. Our physicians have many years of experience with women's health issues. Our goal is to provide thorough evaluation, patient education and options for treatment. We strive to make our patients comfortable and confident in the care they receive from us.

We offer comprehensive annual well woman visits, evaluations for specific gynecologic problems including abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain and urinary incontinence as well as consultations for Menopause and Sexual Function. Visits for contraception, STD screening and first pelvic exams are available. We also offer Ovarian Cancer Screening with in office ultrasound and Genetic Counseling and Screening for Hereditary Breast, Ovarian and Colon cancers.

Treatment approaches for gynecologic problems are individualized. Treatment options might include hormonal, nutritional or herbal therapies, prescription medication, acupuncture or biofeedback, office procedures, minimally invasive surgery or major gynecologic surgery.

Office gynecologic procedures include pelvic ultrasound, saline hystero-sonography, color doppler and 3-D ultrasound, colposcopy, uterine, cervical and vulvar biopsies, cryotherapy, LEEP procedure, treatment of genital warts, placements of IUD's, sizing and fitting of pessaries.

Surgical procedures include hysteroscopy, hysteroscopic resection of fibroids and polyps, endometrial ablation, laparoscopy, myomectomy and laparoscopic hysterectomy. In addition we can provide resources and referrals to highly specialized doctors including gynecologic oncologist, gynecologic urologist and fertility specialist in our area.
